Siebtronic was established in 1984 by Franz Grubmüller in Oberndorf. Even then he recognised the significance of high-quality precision screens for PCB assembly. Through personal dedication and continuous improvements in quality, the company grew quickly and expanded its initial core business. The company began producing SMD stencils in 1995, with the laser precision cutting service in high demand. In the meantime, the company added three high-precision laser cutting machines to its technical equipment. From its humble beginnings as a one-man company, Siebtronic has become a market and technology leader in Austria.
In 2014, the second generation took the helm, with brothers Franz and Andreas Grubmüller in charge of the company's fortunes since then. Much like their father before them, they both value personal contact with the customer and trusting partnerships with the suppliers. These include Koki, who produce soldering materials, and Zestron, who produce precision cleaning agents play key roles.

In light of advancing globalisation, but also resulting from the wish to have Siebtronic's high quality standards confirmed by an independent party, ISO certification was top of the agenda when the brothers took over. As per its mission statement ‘Quality = continuous improvement’, the company also aims to keep its machinery in line with the state of the art. So shortly after taking over they invested in two new machines, including a machine for producing stepped stencils.

There aren't many products that rely as heavily on precision as those that we produce for our customers in the broad area of SMD assembly. He proved himself to be a visionary in this respect, as is still evident today, with Siebtronic having grown from a one-man operation to the market leader in Austria.
