The ZESTRON®EYE is a digital monitoring system that enables the precise measurement and control of cleaning bath concentration for electronics cleaning processes in real time and irrespective of flux loading. It is easily integrated within commonly used cleaning machine types and manufacturers.
- Precise and automatic concentration measurement for fresh and loaded cleaning baths
- Real time cleaner concentration management to quickly react to changes of the cleaner concentration in the running process
- Continuous data storage for traceability of monitored process parameters
- Touch screen interface for ease of use
- Ability to integrate with the cleaning equipment PLC and automated dosing system
- ZESTRON®EYE Basic Software - connect the ZESTRON®EYE to your PC or Laptop
- Reduced operator workload due to automated measurements
ZESTRON®EYE CM is engineered as a full scale Concentration Management or short CM system. As such the unit provides both precise real-time concentration measurement of the cleaning stage based on ZESTRON®EYE's 3P-Technology, as well as closed-loop dosage of cleaning agent concentrate or DI-water.
This way the media concentration is constantly monitored and kept at the defined concentration level which assures continuous good cleaning results.
Designed as a stand-alone module, this system can be easily integrated within the production lines and connected to newly implemented or existing cleaning processes independently of the machine type and manufacturer.
- An all-in-one solution for concentration management. The unit automatically performs the precise measurement and monitoring of the cleaner concentration and provides the dosing of the concentrate / Di-water. Therefore consistent cleaning performances due to a stable cleaner concentration are guaranteed
- Time and cost savings. No manual measurement or dosage by the operator required as the system runs fully-automated
- Traceability of the cleaning results (e.g. for audits) due to automatic data reading and recording
In order to achieve consistent cleaning results, the user has to ensure that the actual concentration of the cleaning agent stays within the recommended application range. Various factors such as “drag-out”, dilution and evaporation can potentially influence the actual concentration. Regular measurements of all process related parameters are therefore highly recommended. The ZESTRON® Bath Analyzer 10 is a simple, easy-to-use method which provides reliable and accurate results for fresh as well as for contaminated cleaning baths.
- Very precise concentration measurement
- Provides evidence of alkalinity via colour change
- Simple and fast procedure
- Mobile, for use anywhere
- Requires little space with minimal investment

ZESTRON Easy Bath Control Kit is a simple-to-use procedure that allows the user to monitor the cleaning agent concentration not only during the process implementation but also at any given Point thereafter.
Concentration fluctuations caused by “drag-out” and other Dilution can therefore be easily monitored ensuring reliable cleaning results.
- Quick and easy measurement method to define the cleaning agent concentration in the cleaning bath
- Low costs per test
- No special test equipment necessary, therefore no space requirements, no investment costs and mobile, for use anywhere
- Free of insalubrious toxic chemicals
The ZESTRON®Flux Test indicates carboxylic-based flux activators through a color reaction. The test is an important supplement to the ionic contamination measurement, as non-visible residues can be easily detected.
Additionally, the ZESTRON®Flux Test helps to visualize the local distribution of contamination which in turn ensures an improved component reliability assessment. Residues based on halogenated activators, however, cannot be detected with the ZESTRON®Flux Test Kit.
- The distribution of local contamination helps to determine the climatic reliability of electronic assemblies
- Quick and easy test method. No extensive training required
- No special test equipment needed
- No additional floor space requirements
- No capital investment costs
- Can be used throughout the facility
- Low cost per tested part
The ZESTRON®Resin Test visually and temporarily identifies the local distribution of resin based residues on electronic assemblies via a color reaction. Critical resin residues, which cause poor adhesion of conformal coatings and delamination effects can be localized during the production and removed by a cleaning step. Thus the critical resin amount of <40 μg/cm² (258.06 μg/sq in) according to J-STD 001 can be met.
This test complements analytical methods such as Ionic Contamination Measurement (detection of inorganic residues) and the ZESTRON®Flux Test (detection of activators/acids).
- Localized detection of resin-based contamination on electronic assemblies
- Quick and easy test method. No extensive training required
- No specific test equipment needed
- No additional floor space requirements
- No investment costs
- Can be used throughout the facility
- On-site sampling inspection during production
- Low cost per tested part
